Porsche celebrates the official launch of its All-new Cayman S in the region
Dubai. In an exquisite and glamorous atmosphere, Porsche Middle East & Africa, celebrated the official launch of its new mid-engined coupe, Cayman S, in the region amid a crowd of VIP’s and Porsche Customers.
Deesch Papke, Managing Director of Porsche Middle East and Africa, highlighted this historic day for Porsche in the region: “Once again, sports car enthusiasts can experience Porsche in a different way, through a totally new model that underlines their individual style with a non conformist car in every respect. A car, which, through its unique and youthful design, also stands out clearly from the Boxster and 911 Carrera. The 295 horse power mid-engined Cayman S paves the way to a new era of expansion and growth for Porsche in the region by redefining driving pleasure and expanding the capabilities of sports car handling in its segment.”
The Cayman S regional Debut crowns a record year for Porsche Middle East & Africa, now ranking as the fifth largest subsidiary for Porsche worldwide. In the 2004/2005 financial year, which ended on July 31, a total of 3,811 vehicles were delivered to customers in the Region, marking an impressive increase of 37 percent on the previous year.
The basic retail price for the Cayman S is US$ 54,470 across the Middle East and GCC countries.
