Another record year for Porsche in the Middle EastStrong Demand for the Cayenne in 2004/2005 financial year
Dubai. Porsche Middle East & Africa FZE posted a new sales record in the Middle East & Africa region. In the 2004/2005 financial year, which ended on July 31, a total of 3,811 vehicles were delivered to customers in the Region, making an impressive increase of 37 percent on the previous year.
Porsche enjoyed strong growth across the entire product range with the Cayenne as a major contributor. This positive market trend bodes well for the future Porsche business in the Middle East and Africa region.
The financial year ended with an exceptional July sales record of 68 percent increase of vehicles delivered to customers compared to the same month of the previous year.
On the horizon, there is the introduction of the new all-wheel-drive model variants of the 911 Carrera, from October onwards to markets worldwide, which will enhance the attractiveness of the 911 series even further. Of particular importance is the introduction of the all new mid-engined coupé Cayman S, which will be launched at the end of November. The addition of this model variant coupled with the ground-breaking scheduled introduction of the all-new Panamera four-door sports coupé in 2009, will enhance the breadth and depth of Porsche’s model range and power it confidently into the future.
