Porsche Middle East Announces Pricing of the New Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera S for the GCCJuly 27, 2004
The GCC price of the much-awaited Porsche 911 Carrera and more powerful 911 Carrera S has been revealed by Porsche Middle East (PME); retail price for the 911 Carrera is US$ 70,194 and for the 911 Carrera S US$ 80,089. The cars will combine the classic 911 silhouette, a trademark of the model for more than 40 years, with new and more aggressive styling.
Porsche Centres in the region have begun taking orders and vehicles will be delivered from September 2004, as a coupé.
According to Mark Bishop, PME’s Dubai-based managing director, “We are already witnessing a lot of interest in the new 911 here in the region and those customers who have been waiting a long time to see this new Porsche superstar will not be disappointed. In its design, evolutionary restyling from front to rear ensures that the new 911 Carrera is even more dynamic than before.”
“The wider track and the slimmer, more accentuated waistline, for example, make the new model even more powerful and athletic in its look and, of course, a lot more powerful and athletic to drive,” he added.
Prices at authorized dealers are harmonized across the region and in addition to the already very complete European standard equipment, the GCC price will also include zone tinted front windscreen, electric sliding roof, Homelink - integrated remote garage door opener, and cruise control.
