An experience of a lifetime Porsche World Roadshow makes landfall in India for the first time
India. Porsche Middle East and Africa continues Porsche World Roadshow (PWRS) tour in the region, this time in India’s inspirational megalopolis, namely the “Aamby Valley City”. During each day between the 25th and 30th of November, participants have been enjoying the ultimate adventure of the PWRS alternating different road exercises including slalom, handling, off-road, moose test, and road tour. At their disposal are 11 cars of the 2007 Model Year Porsche model range including various 911, Boxster/Cayman, and Cayenne models.
Ashish Chordia, Chief Executive Officer of Shreyans Motors Private Limited, Porsche India, stressed the significance of hosting Porsche World Roadshow in India for the first time: “Staging such a globally renowned driving experience in India in the best location of the country provides immeasurable opportunities for Porsche in India and a memorable experience to Indian sports car enthusiasts. By inviting both new and existing customers, we will generate massive awareness for the brand within the Indian population and get them closer to the unique Porsche culture. Porsche cars are not just dream machines, they are a reality you can explore and drive to explore the endless depth and breath of potential they have.”
The Porsche World Roadshow (PWRS) is a long established tool used by Porsche AG to assist importers in implementing driving events and transferring the Porsche experience into their countries. The primary and most important goal is to demonstrate the capabilities and potential of Porsche’s exclusive model range. The PWRS also allows existing customers to compare their car with the rest of the Porsche models.
Porsche believes that the Porsche World Roadshow is the perfect way to highlight the extremely advanced technical features and world class performance of its wide range of sports cars and SUV’s. There is no better way to enjoy the performance of these cars than to allow customers to experience them in safe and controlled environments replicating a variety of real life driving situations. This enables guests to experience Porsche in a way they never thought possible.
In the last five years, more than 11,000 happy potential customers in over 20 countries across the globe have been given the opportunity to participate in PWRS events in a safe and controlled driving environment.
In the course of Porsche World Roadshow global calendar, this exclusive adventure will continue with similar vigour when it moves to Oman and Dubai in February and March 2007 respectively.
