We’ll take you to the limits of the Arctic Circle.
So you can explore yours.
Once you have completed the Performance training, you will be set on finding and following the racing line. Then it’s time for you to experience incredible lateral acceleration on snow and ice – at one of our ‘Ice-Force’ training courses. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, you will learn how to steer correctly and use stabilising braking techniques on various ice circuits in the north of Finland. The training also covers load-changing practice for safer cornering.
The spacious handling course offers plenty of scope for long drifts, with or without electronic driving aids. Simply give it a go. The theory session provides a solid foundation for the practical training. The instructors explain the basic laws of physics as they apply to driving and vehicle handling. This is the ideal opportunity to finely hone your driving skills.
Individual travel to Ivalo in Finland – 300 km (186 miles) north of the Arctic Circle – where you will be greeted at the airport by the Porsche team. Following check-in at the hotel, we invite you to join us for a welcome dinner.
After breakfast and a theory session at the hotel, a shuttle bus will take you to the Porsche Driving Experience Center. Enjoy your first day of training on the lake used exclusively by Porsche, driving various Porsche models with 4-mm spikes on each tyre. The instructors will ensure that the training content follows on seamlessly from the Performance course you have already completed.
Putting into practice what you have learned on the previous day, you can now try out the various drive systems on the Porsche models without traction control, primarily in drift. Afterwards, join the group for a relaxing dinner.
Your ‘master examination’ in dynamic driving conditions. Complete various handling courses covering several miles – always in drift! And always focused on the racing line. After the award ceremony, round off this superlative day over dinner with the group.
After breakfast, you have some time to explore this typical Finnish town at your leisure or take a snowmobile tour. Transfer by shuttle bus to the airport followed by individual departure.
