More 911 than ever: The Porsche museum welcomes the generation of the 911 Carrera. Within this special exhibition the family members of the icon will introduce themselves. With more than 180.000 members the Porsche Clubs are the biggest car fan community worldwide. The very first Porsche Club of the world was founded in May 26, 1952. Art, Graphics & Design - Hanns Lohrer & Porsche
The painter and graphic artist Hanns Lohrer from Stuttgart belongs to the artistically avant-garde of Germany in the early days. It`s not surprising that he was also creative for Porsche. Numerous posters, leaflets and other advertising material bears his hallmarks. With this special exhibition the Porsche museum will be display the variety of the artist Hanns Lohrer. Design by F. A. Porsche - 40 Years of Porsche Product Design
The Porsche Design Studio was established in Stuttgart in 1972 by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, grandson of the Porsche founder and designer of the Porsche 911. It was relocated to Zell am See, Austria, in 1974. In the decades that followed, numerous classic men’s accessories such as watches, eyeglasses, and writing utensils were created and marketed worldwide under the “Porsche Design” brand. At the same time, a large number of industrial products, household appliances, and consumer goods were designed under the “Design by F.A. Porsche" brand for internationally known clients.
