The front light units incorporate the direction indicators, the LED daytime running lights and position lights, which provide outstanding visibility and create an imposing look that is unmistakable even in the dark. LEDs are also used for the direction indicators, the taillights and brake lights, the additional brake light in the rear spoiler, and the rear fog light. LEDs offer several advantages. Importantly, they provide effective illumination and respond more quickly to driver input.

Bi-Xenon headlights with dynamic range control are fitted as standard. Their beams are around twice as bright as those of conventional halogen lamps. Light output is improved and the road illuminated more uniformly on both dipped and main beam, helping to minimize driver fatigue. A headlight cleaning function is also incorporated.

Available as an option, dynamic cornering lights offer particularly effective illumination of the road ahead, especially through bends. Sensors continuously monitor the speed, lateral acceleration and steering lock and, from these variables, calculate the course of the bend. This determines the angle of illumination for the dipped beam lights, up to a maximum of 15 degrees. On twisting roads, this means the course of the road and obstacles can be seen earlier by the driver.
