Both Boxster models are fitted as standard with an airbag system comprising two full-size front airbags as well as dedicated head and thorax airbags (POSIP) on each side. This arrangement ensures optimum upper-body protection, even when the hood is open. For added comfort and safety, the three-point belts have integrated force limiters and pretensioners.
