An electric car with Sports Car genes? Porsche has placed the power of electricity on board a car – the Boxster E.

As part of a wide-ranging electric mobility initiative taking place in Stuttgart, Germany, Porsche launched the roll-out of three purely electric-powered Boxster cars. Electromobility is one of the central challenges of the coming years. The engineers at Porsche want to contribute something in their usual high-performance way to meet the challenge. The Boxster E cars are deployed as driving laboratories to help resolve the practical problems facing electromobility; after all, our customers expect nothing less from Porsche.
