A breathtaking weekend driving a Porsche 911 through one of the most idyllic border regions in Europe. Your tour starts in Ludwigsburg and takes you along the 'Wine Route' to Wissembourg, the most northerly town in Alsace. This is where Marie Leszczinska lived before she married Louis XV and became the Queen of France. The next leg of the tour takes you to Nennig, a picturesque village surrounded by vineyards and the location of your hotel for the night. On the return journey, you will take the impressive Hunsrück High Road, stopping off to sample some true Palatinate hospitality at the Krone Hayna restaurant. The tour then takes you over the Rhine bridge towards Kandel before continuing on through Bergzabern to Wissembourg. Enjoy lunch in a quietly situated restaurant with an interesting history. Round the day off with a marvellous drive through Northern Alsace and the Saarland region to the Hotel Schloss Berg, an oasis of wellbeing. Day 2 On day two you set off across the River Saar to Hayna, passing through the magnificent countryside of the Hunsrück High Road, which runs parallel to the Moselle valley. Along the way, you can put the Porsche 911 through its paces on a stretch of motorway. Stop off in Hayna to sample the gourmet culinary delights on offer at the Krone Hayna restaurant. After a sumptuous lunch prepared by one of Germany's top chefs, you set off along the motorway for the return journey to Porsche AG followed by individual departure.
