For those who enjoy going off the beaten track.

Anyone travelling off road in their car ought to know what they are doing. Or at least have a shovel in the back. Make sure you are prepared for all eventualities by completing one of our off-road training courses in a Cayenne.

The training focuses on the basics. The theory session deals with topics such as the optimum seat position, correct steering and various external influences. The practical session teaches you how to handle ascents, descents and lateral gradients, as well as the correct use of technology when driving off road.

Our instructors are on hand at all times to answer any questions you may have. All you have to do is choose a location. How about Porsche Leipzig? Set in grounds covering 100 hectares, its 6-km (3.7-mile) off-road circuit is a spectacular training venue.

Set amidst an unspoilt natural haven, eighteen training modules simulate scenarios you are likely to encounter when negotiating off-road terrain. Here, you’ll find tree trunks to drive over, walls and bunker crossings, as well as an extreme ramp with a 60% gradient. You can test your nerves on a slanting section with a 35-degree incline. And if that’s not enough, you can look forward to tackling a wading trough, a corduroy road, a pothole track, sand and gravel tracks and a 50-metre water ditch.

With its large off-road circuit, adjacent FIA-compliant test track and the complete range of services offered by the Customer Centre, Porsche Leipzig also provides the ideal platform for a variety of events.

Learning goals:	If one day out in the countryside is simply not enough, then follow the call of the wilderness and combine a superlative driving adventure with an exciting long-haul journey. In cooperation with the Porsche Travel Club, you can hone your off-road driving skills in Dubai or South Africa.
	Just like the Warm-up training course, two day Precision-Training is aimed at first-time participants who have little or no previous knowledge. You will gradually learn the basics of off-road driving dynamics, vehicle technology and driver safety. Our trained instructors will demonstrate various techniques, in both theory and practical sessions, to help you drive safelyon some of the most challenging types of terrain.
	You will practise using technical aids such as low-range gearing and differential locks, learning howto safely handle steep ascents, lateral gradients and driving through water and mud. And if you get stuck, our instructors will be on hand to show you how to get out of even the most difficult situation.
	This training course offers you the chance to improve your driving skills in some of the world’s most spectacular locations. Enjoy the wide variety of challenges presented by the off-road facilities in the desert of Dubai. In addition to honing your vehicle control on a desert safari through seemingly endless dunes, you also havethe opportunity to develop your orientation skills using compass and GPS navigation.
