-15°C. A freezing snow cover. The ideal conditions for some driving fun.
So far, you have avoided particular streets in winter for reasons of safety? In controlled conditions, the Porsche instructors will confront you with critical situations likely to occur in road traffic. You will be prepared for wintry conditions in a targeted manner. One thing will certainly not be lacking: driving pleasure. In a Porsche.
The Ice training offers also provide the option of entering the Porsche Sport Driving School with a Precision training.
And you can of course either hire a Porsche vehicle or participate using your own. It goes without saying that we will provide the vehicles for participation in the Camp4/Camp4S on the Arctic Circle.
At the wintertraining in Austria (Precision-Training Ice) you can participate with a Porsche rental car whereas you change the models in each section.
| Duration: | course lasting several days for advanced participants |
|---|---|
| Requirements: | Ice Precision |
| Price: | Euro 4,190 |
| Training track: | Ivalo, Pasasjärvi/Porsche See (FIN) |
| Learning goals: | There are some people who actually look forward to driving in the winter and the opportunity to leave fresh tracks on the snow-covered, winding roads. |
| Once you have completed the Precision training, you can take part in this intensive Performance course, offered at Camp4S in Rovaniemi and Ivalo (Finland) in cooperation with the Porsche Travel Club. Situated near the Arctic Circle, the training facility offers ideal winter driving conditions with snow guaranteed. | |
| Ice and snow are the perfect surfaces on which to hone your vehicle control. But a huge amount of practice is necessary before a driver instinctively feels how to react correctly to the vehicle’s movements. This is why you spend as much time as possible behind the wheel. | |
| The training is aimed at advanced drivers who are already well acquainted with the principles of driving on ice and snow. After a brief revision of the basics, new training units are covered. Here, the aim is to optimise your vehicle control and to find the racing line even on slippery surfaces. You widen your slalom skills, especially on a downhill track, and try to find the ideal braking point on serpentines. Every day, the Porsche instructors analyse your learning success. In addition, there is a theoretical preparation for the next day’s driving tasks. | |
| Of course, there also has to be an element of fun when you have the opportunity to drive a Porsche in the snow. Under professional guidance, you learn a variety of special drift techniques. | |
| After completing this course, you’ll probably be sad to see the end of winter. |
