The Porsche works-supported Penske Racing team will also be entering two RS Spyders in 2008. The RS Spyder with the starting number 6 will be shared by Porsche works drivers Sascha Maassen and Patrick Long. In the 12 Hours of Sebring and the “Petit Le Mans”, they will be supported by Ryan Briscoe. Title defenders Timo Bernhard and Romain Dumas will go to the starting line with the number 7. They will also have Emmanuel Collard, also a Porsche works driver, at their side as a third driver. The US private team Dyson Racing will also continue into its second season with two RS Spyders, supported by Porsche within the context of its successful customer sport programme. Chris Dyson and Guy Smith will take turns in the cockpit of number 16 while Butch Leitzinger and Marino Franchitti enter the race in number 20. The third driver in the Sebring and "Petit Le Mans" will be Andy Lally.
