That’s why our engineers are always working towards more than one goal at a time. When developing the new Cayenne S Diesel, we were concerned with making it more powerful and yet, at the same time, more efficient. Two guiding principles that have been inextricably linked at Porsche since 1948. Along with the principle of offering you an even more exhilarating experience.
How do we do this? With 281 kW (382 hp) and 850 Nm of torque, naturally. To match the performance capability of the new 4.2-litre V8 turbo-diesel engine, the Cayenne S Diesel features the same braking system as the Cayenne S, eight-speed Tiptronic S and Porsche Traction Management (PTM) active all-wheel drive. All of this helps to make it a sports car among diesels – and among SUVs. In addition, the Cayenne S Diesel embodies everything for which the Porsche ‘S’ stands: heightened sports performance and abundant reserves of power. Its drive system, generous equipment and unique design are also geared towards one thing: meeting your needs.
Once again, we’ve taken a tried-and-tested concept and developed it further. The result: a diesel, a sports car and, above all else, a Porsche that successfully combines performance and efficiency.
