The auto start/stop function, used by Porsche for the first time in the new Panamera – and only available in conjunction with PDK – reduces fuel consumption and hence emissions. For example, if you're waiting at traffic lights with your foot on the brake, the system automatically switches off the engine. As soon as you release the brake, it starts again. This saves fuel: in the city, up to 10 % and overall by more than 5 %.*
Fuel consumption/emissions* of the Panamera models: Urban in l/100 km 17.0 (16.7**)-8.1 (7.8**); Extra urban in l/100 km 8.4 (8.3**)-5.6 (5.5**); Combined in l/100 km 11.5 (11.3**)-6.5 (6.3**); CO2 emissions in g/km 270 (265**)-172 (167**).
* These data were obtained using the Euro 5 measurement method (715/2007/EC and 692/2008/EC) in the NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) with standard equipment. The information does not refer to an individual vehicle and is not part of the offer, but is simply provided so that comparisons can be made between different types of vehicle. Further, up to date information on the individual vehicles can be obtained from your Porsche Centre.
Consumption figures were obtained on the basis of standard equipment. Special equipment may affect consumption and performance.
