Stuttgart. Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, is building up its communication team. The Department is restructuring to adapt the new responsibilities with new models and site expansions. Under the leadership of Head of Communication Hans- Gerd Bode (50), in future the product communication department will be organised by model line, with corporate communication providing contacts for central corporate matters.
Reporting to Thomas Becki (50) with effect from September, Holger Eckhardt (46) will be taking over as the new product communication contact responsible for the 911 and Boxster/Cayman model lines. Mr Eckhardt was previously editor of trade journal Auto-Zeitung. Other newcomers to the product communication team are Thomas Hagg (32), responsible for the Cayenne, Cajun and Panamera models and Ina Hämmerling (30), the point of contact for lifestyle and consumer media. Mr Hagg and Ms Hämmerling were previously employed in Audi AG’s product and technology communication department in Ingolstadt.
With effect from October 1, corporate communication is beefed up by the arrival of Julia Pirlich (29). Ms Pirlich is the new spokesperson for Porsche’s Leipzig location having previously worked at Volkswagen in product communication. In addition, in Porsche’s communication department, Lukas Kunze (28), previously PR assistant, has taken over the role of spokesperson for sales and HR issues. Ms Pirlich and Mr Kunze will report to Head of Corporate Communication Dirk Erat (39).
The General Manager for the new Internal Communication department is since August Josef Arweck (34). Mr Arweck previous position was in Communication at Porsche SE. In his new position he will report directly to Hans-Gerd Bode.
