  • Visit to the Porsche Automuseum Helmut Pfeifhofer
  • Savouring regional and award-winning

The culinary arts and engineering ingenuity seem to belong to two different worlds. Yet they can also be combined with a Porsche. Take a journey to the origins of the Porsche brand with many culinary highlights along the way.

Your itinerary

Day 1
Salzburg

The starting point of your trip is the Schloss Fuschl Resort & Spa in Hof near Salzburg – one of the premiere addresses in the entire region. The unusual location will be enough to fire up your enthusiasm right at the start: next to the Fuschlsee, embedded in splendid natural surroundings. After checking in you are warmly welcomed with an aperitif to get you into the right mood for the days ahead. The evening is rounded off by dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Day 2
Salzburg – Gmünd – Kaprun

The next morning you switch from your chair at the breakfast table directly to the driver's seat of a Porsche. The initial kilometres already leave their mark. The unique joy of driving a Porsche in combination with breathtaking scenery is a pure joy. Your route takes you to Strobl via St. Gilgen and continues through Abtenau to Annaberg where you stop for lunch. It's a small town with a great significance. This is where the roots of Porsche can be found. And it is also the home of the Porsche Automuseum Helmut Pfeifhofer which will be sure to fascinate you. The day's final destination is Hotel Tauern Spa Zell am See-Kaprun. The water activities complex encompassing 20,000 m² alone suggest an unforgettable stay. For dinner you'll drive to Prielau Castle to eat in Restaurant Mayer that has been awarded 2 Michelin stars. Sophisticated dishes in a tasteful atmosphere provide the appropriate ending to an eventful day.

Day 3
Kaprun – Großglockner – Kaprun

The focus of today's excursion is typical for Porsche, a pure driving enjoyment. The drive to the Großglockner via Bruck and Ferleiten is already a special adventure. The day also furnishes a few culinary highlights as well, like lunch at the Kaiser Franz Josef Haus or the tasty titbits enjoyed in the Rauchkuchl of the well-known Schwaigerlehen Inn on your return trip to the hotel in Zell am See. You can end the day on a relaxing note at a drinks reception followed by dinner in the gourmet restaurant at the Landhotel Erlhof.

Day 4
Kaprun - Golling - Salzburg

After a restful night, it's back behind the wheel again. The drive via Bischofshofen, Berchtesgaden and Bad Reichenhall to Salzburg is an open invitation to test the Porsche driving dynamics thoroughly once more. Then you can take a breather and indulge in a sumptuous lunch at the Obauer Restaurant. A stop at the Sennerei Schweizerhütte later presents another opportunity for a pleasant break. In the afternoon you will head back to the starting point of your trip. The final night of the tour is spent at the Schloss Fuschl Resort & Spa once again. Be sure to take advantage of your last chance to savour the delicious regional specialities one more time.

Day 5
Salzburg

After a sumptuous breakfast, it's time to head back home. Without the Porsche, but with many memories of a fabulous trip.
