Zooming in on the Supercup – Who shoots the photo of the weekend?
On your marks, get set – click! The Supercup photo competition launches into its first season. In cooperation with the world leading lens manufacturer, Sigma, Porsche is searching for the most unusual photo of the world’s fastest international one-make series every race weekend. True to the motto “the Supercup from all angles” this competition is open to all FIA accredited photographers. And it pays to participate. The winning photographer at each race receives a Sigma lens 300/2.8 AF (Canon or Nikon mounts) worth around 3,000 Euro or another Sigma lens of the competitor’s choice of the same value. As from April, 10th 2008, the winning photos will be displayed on this page and at the media breakfast in the Porsche paddock at the race track.
The photo competition remains open and exciting until the end of the year, when judges choose the “Supercup Photo of the Year”. As the main prize, the winning photographer receives a Sigma lens 200-500/2.8 AF (Canon or Nikon mounts) worth around 25,000 Euro.
