In 2002, the first animals were settled on our grounds in Leipzig close to our assembly plant. They like it there. They have been fruitful and multiplied. Like everything at Porsche, they are responsible for an important sector. They must permanently retain the ecological value of the grounds with its existing flora and fauna. Perhaps this sounds rather strange. But perhaps this animal story is also a good example showing the human side of our operation. Because our people are important to us. We know we can count on them. They sometimes think against the grain. But, above all, they think – creatively and cooperatively. We value this. And so do our customers.
A German Chancellor even felt that the Porsche Principle could get the German economy back on track again. Which makes us proud. Although, what do we basically do that’s so special – aside from producing special cars?
The Human Principle of Porsche extends to everyone: customers, employees, partners and shareholders alike. Perhaps all this is somehow interlinked. Meaning, perhaps, that ultimately it is immaterial that we march to a different drum.
