Porsche World Roadshow 2007 hits BeijingPorsche’s ultimate driving adventure continues
Beijing/Shanghai. Porsche World Roadshow, the ultimate Porsche driving experience, is coming to Beijing fresh from a successful first stop in Shanghai.
For 10 days, from June 28 to July 7, Beijing Golden Port Circuit will become a proving ground for Porsche enthusiasts as they put their on-the-track and off-road skills to the test in 20 of Porsche’s top vehicles from across the company’s model range.
Beijing is the second stop on the Roadshow’s three-venue tour of China this year, as it makes its way around the globe, visiting cities in every continent but Antarctica. In October the Roadshow will call in at Zhuhai, enabling as many of China’s Porsche enthusiasts as possible to encounter this once in a lifetime experience.
Accompanied by experienced Chinese and European Porsche instructors, participants atthe Mobil and Michelin sponsored Beijing leg of the World Roadshow will get the opportunity to drive a range of models in conditions specifically chosen to test their performance to the limit - including off-roading in a Cayenne, slaloming in a Cayman and testing the 911’s high-speed manoeuvr ability.
But as well as being a thrilling and enjoyable chance to push cars and drivers to the limit, with expert instructors on hand, the Roadshow is an ideal opportunity for drivers to pick up tips and skills to make them better, safer drivers when they return to the public road.
Porsche World Roadshow is also the perfect way to highlight Porsche’s position as makers of the ultimate sports cars and SUVs for everyday use, allowing customers to experience the cars’ abilities in ways only responsibly attainable in the safe, controlled environment provided by an international racetrack.
“We are extremely excited to be offering Porsche World Roadshow participants this unique experience in three venues across China this year. The Roadshow is a vital part of our mission to bring the Porsche experience to as many people as possible” said Mark Bishop, Managing Director of Porsche China - Jebsen & Co. (China) Motors Ltd.
