Memorable Event held by Porsche Club ShanghaiGathering of Porsche Owners at She Shan Le Meridien
Shanghai. Porsche Club Shanghai held its first official meeting on 24th September 2006. Around 70 Porsche owners who purchased their cars from Porsche Centre Shanghai, gathered with their family mem-bers at She Shan Le Meridien – a special location near Shanghai.
All participants were warmly welcomed by Mr. Mark Bishop - Managing Director of Porsche China – Jebsen & Co. (China) Motors Ltd. He said: “This is the first official gathering of Porsche Club Shang-hai. We hope each individual participant can have even better appre-ciation of this brand and experience the true enjoyment of a Porsche lifestyle through this activity. Furthermore, Porsche is planning to set up even more regional clubs throughout China”.
Porsche China promised guests and Porsche Club Shanghai members a day to remember – and true to the words it was. The event took place amongst Le Meridien's most charming gardens, whose terraces offer impressive views of an elite garden complex. All participants were invited to relax for a delicious buffet grill - with pleasantly mild summer breezes in such lovely, atmospheric surroundings, what more could you ask for from an event like this.
It was an interesting afternoon among friends, with a discussion on Porsche-related matters. Porsche owners were also given the opportu-nity to vote on the logo for Porsche Club Shanghai. A dazzling dis-play of fireworks marked the end of a delightful evening. Partici-pants watched in awe as the brilliancy lit up the night sky over the garden.
As a memento, participants not only brought home a host of wonderful memories from the pleasant afternoon, but also, the spirit of a Por-sche lifestyle.
