How do I register for the program?
You can register online or through Porsche’s Call Centre at 1-800-PORSCHE, Option 3
For a booking to be considered confirmed, the Fees must be paid in full at the time of booking the Driving Experience. Payment must be made by credit card. Payment of the Fees by the Customer shall be made in Canadian Dollars. Exchange rate fluctuations are strictly Participant’s responsibility.
Is there an age requirement to take the course?
Participants must be at least 21 and possess a current, valid driver’s license.
Is Camp4 just for Porsche customers?
No. Camp4 is designed for anyone with an interest in improving their driving ability and enjoyment.
Do you provide helmets and racing suits?
Helmets and racing suits are not required for the event.
Can me and my friend be in the same car?
We cannot guarantee you will be in the same car, but every effort will be made to pair you up. Please specify what friend you want to be paired with during booking and at the registration at the hotel.
Can I bring a guest?
Most of the event is taking place off-site at the track and no guests are allowed. However, if you would like a guest to join us for the welcome dinner (Day 0) and the farewell dinner (Day 2), you need to pre-register that person and an additional $250 will be added to your account. If that guest requires an additional hotel room, please contact the hotel directly.
How much time is spent in the classroom vs. track time?
There is virtually no classroom session.
Is travel included?
No, we will take care of everything once you get to the hotel, but getting there is your responsibility.
Do you offer gift certificates?
No.
Can I bring my own car?
We provide the cars for the course. You are welcome to bring your own car, but it will have to stay in the hotel parking lot.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, seasonal attire is recommended. We recommend that you dress in layers, as 90% of the time is spent in the warmth of a car, but the other 10% is spent outside where the temperature can be very chilly (all the way down to -40 Celsius!).
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask you to understand that Porsche incurs expenses in reliance upon your attendance as enrolled. If Porsche receives your request to cancel or change your reservation with the Porsche Camp4 Canada more than thirty (30) days prior to the course start date, a $250.00 fee will be charged and you will have no further obligation. If the cancellation or change is received by Porsche between seven (7) and thirty (30) days prior to the course start date, the participant forfeits half the cost of the Event. There are no refunds for changes or cancellations received by Porsche less than seven (7) days prior to the course start date, or if you do not appear for the Event, regardless of reason. Likewise, by way of example and not of limitation, refunds will not be issued for “no-shows” resulting from weather, airline connection problems, or other members of a group cancelling.
When does class start and end each day?
The shuttle will leave the hotel at 8:00 AM for both driving days. On day one, we will leave the track at around 5:30 PM and stop on the way to the hotel for dinner. Return to the hotel is will be around 9:30 PM. On day two, we will leave the track at around 4:30 PM and return directly to the hotel at around 6:00 PM. We will then go to dinner in the village at around 7:00 PM.
How many participants per class?
There are 30 participants per wave.
What language is the training in?
The training is primarily in English, but if you would prefer French we will accommodate you as best we can. Please specify your language preference during booking.
