In 2007, numerous departments from the Porsche company took part at the Retro Classics trade fair in Stuttgart.
The Customer Center - Classic used this opportunity to present its products and services to the audience of specialists and enthusiasts. Porsche Classic restoration experts were on hand to answer questions on the availability and procurement of replacement parts for classic Porsche models and on how to restore these historic vehicles. A fully restored Porsche 911 from 1970 was on display to demonstrate the expertise of the Customer Center - Classic in-house workshop. And the so-called “living workshop” provided a behind-the-scenes look at Porsche original in-house restoration, as specialists demonstrated the individual work steps involved in gearbox repair work. Finally, visitors were offered a comprehensive selection of literature, ranging from Driver’s Manuals through parts catalogues in print form and on CD to Workshop Manuals.
