Rennsport proving popular with Porsche enthusiastsEntries open, website live for inaugural Porsche Rennsport Australia
As Australia’s largest ever gathering of Porsche sports cars draws closer, enthusiasts of the prestigious German marque have shown great interest in the inaugural Porsche Rennsport Australia Motor Racing Festival.
Entries have now opened for the Sydney Motorsport Park event, to be held on May 25-26, 2013.
Initial interest in the event has surpassed expectations, with over 130 entries received for the eclectic mix of motorsport categories: Porsche Carrera Cup Australia, Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Australia presented by Pirelli, Porsche Sports car races, regularity and Porsche historic races and demonstrations.
The event will also feature a Porsche Concours d’Elegance and Porsche Show ‘n’ Shine along with Porsche Sport Driving School and Porsche Kids Driving School activities, using all facets of the newly improved Sydney based facility.
The Porsche Rennsport Australia event website has been launched (www.rennsportaustralia.com.au) featuring all relevant event information, the new event logo, contact details and the ability to submit entries to the Porsche festival.
